Sophia Parra

Title: Graduate Coordinator for Student Centers and Event Services

Sophia Parra (she/her/hers) returns to Student Centers and Activities as a graduate coordinator after having spent the summer as a New Student Orientation NODA Intern at the University of Maryland. She is a graduate of Montclair State University, where she majored in Communications and Media Studies.

During her time at Montclair, she was heavily involved in different departments and organizations, including the Student Government Association, Undergraduate Admissions, University Communications, as well as the Student Communications department under Student Development and Campus Life. Through her involvement, she found her passion for Student Affairs and knew that she wanted to pursue Student Affairs as a career post-grad. She will continue her internship with Rutgers, based in the Busch Student Center, where she will continue as the Student Centers and Event Services Graduate Coordinator! She is honored to be part of the CSA program and the Student Centers and Activities team. She cannot wait to learn and grow during her time at Rutgers University!
