Involvement and Leadership Week 2026
Monday, January 26 – Friday, January 30, 2026
Involvement and Leadership Week is the perfect time to think about ways you can be more engaged on campus. Whether you would like to join a student organization, become a Student Center manager, or develop as a campus leader, Involvement and Leadership Week is the best time to learn how you can get involved and make a difference.
Schedule
Student Involvement and Leadership Open House
Monday, January 26 • 2:00-4:00pm • Student Activities Center
Join the Office of Student Involvement and Leadership for an Open House to engage with various Departmental Organizations and Governing Councils. Whether you're a brand-new Scarlet Knight or a returning one, this is your chance to explore meaningful ways to get involved and make an impact on campus.
Create a vision board to map out your goals for the year—whether they're tied to an organization you're part of or your personal journey this semester. Enjoy good music, fun games, and free food while meeting new people and learning how you can shape your student experience at Rutgers.
Leadership Movie Marathon
Tuesday, January 27 • 12:00-6:00pm • Student Activities Center
Visit the SAC for an afternoon viewing of Remember the Titans, The Pursuit of Happiness, and Akeelah and the Bee. Enjoy some light refreshments while you see how leadership skills are incorporated into various areas of life.
Student Showcase
Wednesday, January 28 • 6:00-8:00pm • Student Activities Center
All students and student organizations are invited to show off their talents (singing, dancing, poetry, magic, etc...) to the Rutgers community. Performers will provide insight into their performance and create a night of fantastic student talent. Food and refreshments will be provided for all performers and attendees! Students who wish to perform can sign up here.
Student Leader Hot Chocolate Connection Social
Friday, January 30 • 12:00-2:00pm • Student Activities Center
All Student Organization Leaders are invited to an afternoon where you can meet Student Leaders from other organizations, share challenges, gain advice, and make friendships. Enjoy a hot chocolate bar and dessert bites while engaging in networking activities.
