Why Get Involved
The Student Involvement and Leadership team serves over 500 student organizations, ranging from academic to social organizations, and many more. Getting the most out of your Rutgers experience means participating in this vital part of our community!
Active participation in organizations provides opportunities to enhance leadership skills, develop lifelong friendships, discover passions and strengths, and gain practical skills and competencies.
The Student Activities Center (SAC) is a collaborative space for all student leaders. Our staff is dedicated to assisting with all student involvement and leadership needs. Visit the Student Involvement and Leadership team to meet with an advisor, make an appointment to meet with an ambassador at the Engagement Hub to learn ways to get involved on campus, or stop by SABO for organization financial support. The SAC is great place to meet with RUSA executive board, as well as a place to hang out and engage with other student leaders.
