Karima Woodyard
Title: Director, Student Involvement and Leadership
Karima Woodyard currently serves as the Director for Student Involvement and Leadership within the department of Student Centers and Activities. In her role, she manages a team of 10 professional and graduate staff who advise and support 500+ student organizations, student government, commuter student programs, oversight of the MARK Leadership Conference, Alternative Breaks, the Lead-Up Academy, the getINVOLVED platform, the Engagement Hub, Dr. Jewel Plummer Cobb S.T.E.A.M. Women’s Empowerment Initiatives, as well as a host of leadership development programs and services. Karima and her team work collaboratively with partners throughout the university to create inclusive and meaningful opportunities for students. Karima had degrees from both Drexel University and East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania.
