Jaletta Reames

Title: Assistant Director, Meetings and Events

Jaletta Reames is an adaptable, "take-charge" higher education professional. She found her passion eight years ago when she left Corporate Viacom, a division of BET Networks, to pursue a burning desire to make a difference in higher education. She joined Rutgers University in 2019. Currently, she is the Assistant Director of the Meetings and Events team in Student Centers and Activities, where she develops new, innovative methods to process reservations and offers executive-level meetings and event opportunities within six Student Centers. She is also responsible for all sales and marketing efforts for Meetings and Events. She has a bachelor of arts degree in marketing and advertising communications and a master of education degree in higher education administration leadership. Jaletta is also a member of ACUI (Association of College Unions International).
