Lawrence Owens

Title: Assistant Director, Student Involvement and Leadership

Lawrence Owens joined Rutgers University Student Centers and Activities in 2022 as the Assistant Director in Student Involvement and Leadership. He spent more than four years of his professional Student Affairs experience in student leadership, programming, and data-driven assessment, which he gained at his alma mater, Kean University. Since joining Student Involvement and Leadership, he has helped in overseeing the largest student-run leader conference, the Mark Conference! In addition, he has also helped in supervising and leading the Leader Corps, consisting of our LEAD Interns, Lead Up Academy, and the Mark Conference Team. He continues to look for and strive for innovated ways to inspire the over 50 student groups he advises on campus to ensure their group success both personally and professionally!
