What is Geek Week? Geek Week is a nationally recognized annual week of events celebrating all things “geeky” at Rutgers University. From tabletop and video gaming, to music, cosplay, academic panels based on gender and ethnic diversity, and more. By focusing on the students and their passions, Geek Week seeks to make meaningful differences in students’ lives by providing opportunities for them to find community, be accepted, and gain exposure to unfamiliar topics and experiences in geek culture.

Monday, March 2
Geek Week Kick-Off: Lego Building Competition
Time: 7-10 PM
Location: Livingston Student Center, MPR
Kick off Geek Week by putting your creativity to the test! Join hosts Corey Samuels and Christine "Tacos" Blandino for a friendly LEGO building competition.

Mosaic Building Workshop

Get hands-on and craft something beautiful! Drop in and join Corey Samuels and Christine "Tacos" Blandino for a relaxed mosaic building workshop. No experience needed.
Catan Tournament with RU Unplugged
Time: 6-9 PM
Location: Livingston Student Center, MPR
Trade, build, and settle your way to victory! Compete against fellow Rutgers students in this classic strategy board game.

Video Game Truck
Time: 12-5 PM
Location: Morrell Street
Step inside and play! A fully loaded gaming truck rolls up to Morrell Street for hours of gaming fun. No registration needed — just show up and play.
Roller Skating with RUPA
Time: 6-10 PM
Location: College Ave Student Center, MPR
Lace up and hit the rink! Join RUPA for a fun night of roller skating.
Thursday, March 5
Harry Potter Night with Muggle Mayhem
Time: 5-8 PM
Location: Douglass Student Center, Trayes Hall
Step into the wizarding world for an epic Triwizard Tournament–inspired competition! Compete in magical challenges and themed games to prove your skill, courage, and wit. Champions will win exciting prizes, so bring your best wizarding spirit!

Friday, March 6
Dungeons and Dragons Night with Roll for Initiative: The Rutgers Dungeons & Dragons Club

Roll for initiative! Whether you're a seasoned adventurer or a first-time player, join us for an epic night of D&D.

Late Knight: Geek Week Finale - Pokémon Night
Time: 9 PM - 12 AM
Location: College Ave Student Center, MPR
End Geek Week with a bang! Celebrate all things Pokémon with games and activities to close out the week in style. Back by popular demand, thrash metal band @SuperThrashBrosOfficial, will be performing iconic soundtracks at 9:30 PM and 11 PM. The food bar includes bubble tea, ramen, mochi donuts, and more!
