Graduation Cap Decorating
Time: 12:00pm - 8:00pm
Location: College Ave Student Center Room 109
Decorating your graduation cap or mortarboard has turned into a tradition for college graduates. Make a statement during your graduation ceremony by getting the creative juices flowing at this year’s Graduation Cap Decorating event.
All supplies are free but Seniors must bring their cap to the event to be decorated there. While you are at the event enjoy some light refreshments!

RUcketlist Photo Scavenger Hunt
Time: 3:00pm – 5:00pm
Location: Meet at the College Ave Student Center, MPR

Don’t leave the banks until you have a chance to cross a few more things off your RUcketlist! Test your knowledge of Rutgers and kick off Senior Days with a five-campus Rutgers Photo Scavenger Hunt. Bring your team of up to three (3) Seniors for a chance to win great prizes! No pre-registration is required but all teams must meet at the College Ave Student Center MPR by 3:00pm. To prepare, have 1 team member download Scavify from the app store.

Scarlet Forever Senior Reception (SOLD OUT)
Time: 5:00pm – 7:00pm

Location: Multipurpose Room, College Ave Student Center, College Ave Campus
Enjoy hors d’oeuvres and the music of a jazz trio on the lawn of the historic Old Queens, capped off by a champagne toast to celebrate your accomplishments. Seniors will have the chance to mingle with University leaders, ring the Red Lion bell, and participate in the traditions of breaking the clay pipe and class stone rubbing.
The event will begin with a short program at 5:15pm with remarks from University Leadership commemorating the class of 2024.
Tickets: $5 For Seniors/ $10 For Guests (Limited Guest Tickets Available)
Tickets will be sold at the door while supplies last. Only credit or debit cards will be accepted.

Club Alex (SOLD OUT)
Time: 10:00pm – 1:00am
Location: Alexander Library
You’ve jokingly referred to the library as Club Alex all these years while studying into the wee hours of the night, so get excited for a Senior Days staple, Club Alex! You’ve spent hours there studying, now you’ll get to celebrate the end of the semester as we turn Alexander Library into Club Alex! There will be a DJ, lights, dancing, food, photo opportunities, and a cash bar!

Beer & Wine Experience (SOLD OUT)
Time: 12:00pm - 3:00pm
Location: Livingston Student Center
Toast with your fellow members of the class of 2024 at this immersive, multi-room event!
Your guided experience will include:
- Learning how beer is made while enjoying craft beers from around New Jersey and the US.
- A wine-tasting & etiquette tutorial complete with varietals from around the world.
- Light refreshments
- A commemorative Senior Days pint glass
- Music, a photobooth, & raffles

Parking is not available and taking Rutgers transportation is advised.

Broadway Show: Harry Potter and the Cursed Child (SOLD OUT)

Join us for an evening showing of Harry Potter on Broadway! Ticket price includes transportation to and from New York and one show ticket. Check back soon to see which show we’re going to!

New York City Yacht Cruise (SOLD OUT)
Time: Check-in at 4:30pm; Bus departs at 5:30pm (8:00pm Yacht Departure)

Celebrate your graduation on the Sensation, a 114-foot Yacht! Get dressed up with your friends and enjoy a night on the Hudson River with fantastic views of the city that never sleeps. A full dinner, one free alcoholic drink, and dancing will be included. A cash bar will be available. Suggested cocktail attire. Bus will depart approximately 30 minutes after the boat docks. Participants are required to travel to and from the event location with the group on the provided bus transportation.

Medieval Times (SOLD OUT)
Time: Check-in at 4:30pm; Bus departs at 5:00pm (7:00pm Show)

Rain or Shine
Escape to a time of courage and honor to witness an epic battle of medieval proportions. Enjoy a traditional royal four-course meal from ringside seats, while watching a live jousting tournament. Bus will depart approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the show. Dinner is included, must present valid photo ID for age verification for alcoholic beverages. Participants are required to travel to and from the event location with the group on the provided bus transportation.

Six Flags Great Adventure (SOLD OUT)
Time: Check-in at 10:00am; Bus departs at 10:30am; Depart Six Flags to return to campus at 5:30pm
Location: Bus Departs From Morrell Street, College Ave Student Center
Rain or Shine
Spend the day at the area’s largest theme park featuring dozens of thrill rides, shows, and activities. Ticket includes general park admission for the day and a “mega meal” voucher. The bus will depart Six Flags at 5:30pm to return to campus. For more information about the park, visit the Six Flags website. Participants are required to travel to and from the event location with the group on the provided bus transportation.

Senior Brunch (SOLD OUT)
Time: 11:00am – 2:00pm
Location: Livingston Lawn
As Senior Days come to an end, join us for a picturesque outdoor picnic made for your IG! Enjoy a brunch buffet, mimosas at our cash bar, and plenty of photo opportunities for you and your friends!

Bartending 101 (SOLD OUT)
Time: 4:00pm – 5:30pm
Location: Livingston Student Center, Rutgers Zone
Each student will receive an educational experience in the art of mixology and the bar business. Guests will also learn the basics of networks/socializing in business/professional settings when alcohol is involved. Students will make a Moscow Mule, along with other popular drinks.
Must be 21 to participate.
Tickets: $20 Seniors Only
Senior Movie Night: The Fall Guy
Time: 8:00pm; Check in between 7:30pm - 7:45pm
Location: Rutgers Cinema
Conclude Senior Days with a night at the cinema. If you haven’t crossed visiting the Rutgers Cinema off of your RUcketlist, this is your last chance (as a student at least). A private showing of "The Fall Guy" starring Ryan Gosling & Emily Blunt will be shown at 8PM. Ticket price includes admission to the movie, a small popcorn, and a small soda.

Senior Days FAQ
- On-Campus Housing
Housing will close 10:00am on Thursday, May 9, 2024. Extending Spring housing past closing will be available to graduating seniors currently assigned to on-campus housing and reside outside of New Jersey. Any graduating student in need of extended housing will need to complete the Extending Spring housing application on the Housing Portal at https://oncampus.rutgers.edu, which will become available mid-April.
- Dining
Hours listed here are the Hours of Operations the Student Centers will be open to the public. Student Centers may open earlier and close later based on the event schedule.
Meal Plans and RU Express
The last student meal in the Dining Halls will be dinner on Wednesday, May 8, 2024.
Students who will not be taking classes in the coming summer and fall semester should fill out an RU Express refund request form if they have at least $5 remaining in RU Express balance.

- Parking
During Senior Days, students participating in the events are allowed to park in the student lots (Lots: 20, 26, 30, College Ave. Deck, 98A or 98B) without a permit beginning Thursday, May 9, through Saturday, May 11. You may use any vehicle as long as there are no outstanding tickets on the vehicle.

Parking the day of Commencement, Sunday, May 12, is by the special Commencement hangtag only, which can be obtained through the Commencement website.
Transit
Beginning on Thursday, May 9, the Department of Transportation Services will begin operating buses on the summer bus schedule. For more information on busing, please visit ipo.rutgers.edu.
Knight Mover
The Knight Mover provides individual transportation within or between ALL the Rutgers New Brunswick and Piscataway campuses AFTER the Intercampus Transit System ceases to operate for the evening. Knight Mover Phone #: 732-932-RIDE (7433)
Summer Knight Mover Hours (until August 28) are as follows:
Weekdays: Midnight (12:00am) until 7:00am
Weekends: 7:00pm until 10:00am- Tickets
Tickets will be sold ONLINE starting Tuesday, April 16 at 2:00pm. Tickets can be purchased at this link. Tickets are offered on a first-come, first-served basis until sold out.
Methods of Payment: Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.
Please keep the following ticket policies in mind before purchasing tickets:
- Please arrive at all events and trips promptly. Late entry or arrival may not be possible for some events.
- Only New Brunswick/Piscataway UNDERGRADUATE Seniors who graduated in January 2024 or those who are eligible to graduate in May or August 2024, are eligible to participate in Senior Day events. Senior Days events are paid for with student fees associated with your class year. If you are walking at this year's commencement ceremony, you are eligible for Senior Days 2024.
- Rutgers students participating in a five-year program may participate in Senior Days during their 4th year ONLY. Students in these programs are considered undergraduates through their 4th year until their 5th and/or 6th year when they are considered graduate students in terms of fees. Students in their 5th and 6th year cannot participate in Senior Days.
- A valid Rutgers University student ID and your online ticket will be verified at each event. The Division of Student Affairs at Rutgers University reserves the right to deny entry to non-Seniors attempting to use Senior tickets without a refund.
- Guests must be accompanied by a current Rutgers Senior and have a valid state-issued photo ID for identity and age verification. Guests are only permitted to attend events listed on the website with a guest ticket price listed.
- Seniors may transfer their ticket to another senior if they can no longer attend. If you have received a transferred ticket, make sure the person whom you received the ticket from follows the instructions below to submit your name to our office.
- Participants must present valid state-issued photo ID for age verification to be served alcohol at any event. The Division of Student Affairs at Rutgers University reserves the right to deny entry to any Seniors or Guests that arrive at events under the influence of alcohol or other drugs.
- For all off-campus bus trips (New York City Broadway, MEDIEVAL TIMES, NY CITY YACHT CRUISE, and Six Flags Great Adventure): Participants are required to travel to and from the event location with the group on the provided bus transportation.
- Changes to events due to weather or other emergencies will be announced using the email address provided at the ticket purchase. All changes will also be listed on this website.
- All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges.
- Rutgers Seniors are able to purchase 2 tickets (one for themselves and one for another eligible senior) for all events: Club Alex, Beer & Wine Experience, Broadway, NYC Yacht Cruise, Medieval Times, Six Flags, and Bartending 101. If purchasing a ticket for another senior, you will need their name, netID (ie: ABC123), and Rutgers email before completing your purchase. Both student netIDs will be verified to confirm they are seniors. Please arrive together to check-in for the event as both tickets will say the purchaser's name. You do not need to fill out the Ticket Transfer form if you provided all the correct information at check-out.
By clicking on the ticket and adding it to your shopping cart link, you are agreeing to adhere to the ticket limit and policies. Please note we may cancel any ticket orders that exceed the published ticket limit or do not adhere to Senior Days Policies.
Transferring Tickets: If you have a senior days ticket that you can no longer use and you wish to give it to another eligible senior, please fill out this Ticket Transfer Form to notify our office of the transfer. Any tickets being resold should be resold at face value and will need to be reported to our office via this form so we have the proper attendee information on file. All Transfers must be reported to our office by 5:00pm the day prior to the event. If this form if not completed, we cannot permit anyone to use that ticket other than the person whose name is on the ticket.
University Ticket Policies: You must bring a valid Rutgers Student ID to each event. Participants must present valid state-issued photo ID for age verification to be served alcohol. Guests MUST present other valid federal/state issued photo ID as proof of age at the event. Failure to do so will result in denied entry. ALL attendees (guests included) MUST be 18 years of age or older and comply with all Rutgers University Policies.
- 258th Anniversary Commencement
The Rutgers University–New Brunswick and Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences is being held Sunday, May 12, 2024 at SHI Stadium. President Jonathan Holloway presides over the ceremony and formally confers the degrees of graduates and honorary degree recipients. School-based Convocations, where graduates receive individual recognition, are held on the days surrounding Commencement.

- Senior Portraits
Seniors can still schedule a senior portrait session on campus with Lors Photography by going to: https://myschedule.lorsstudio.com/accounts/login/ and using your personal login and password that can be found in your email from Lors. If you did not receive an email, or lost your login/password, you can go to the link and click ‘forgot password’. You can also schedule by contacting Lors at 908.964.3040 or emailing customerservice@lorsstudio.com.
