Zachary Lomas

Title: Associate Director, Busch Student Center
Zac Lomas began his career in student affairs in 2017 as a graduate student at Binghamton University, where he served as both the Graduate Coordinator for the University's Late Nite program and a Graduate Intern for the Multicultural Resource Center. After graduating with a Master's in Science in Student Affairs in 2019, he joined Rutgers University–Camden as their Nights and Weekends Operations Coordinator, before transitioning to the Program Coordinator for the Office of Student Involvement. In February of 2024, he made the jump to New Brunswick, where he currently serves as the Associate Director of the Busch Student Center. Since his time in undergrad at Colgate University, Zac has been enthralled in the world of the Student Centers and College Unions, and so his involvement in ACUI (Association of College Unions International) comes as no surprise, where he's served on multiple regional conference planning teams, the Association's DEI Program Team, Election Committee, and where he currently acts as Region VII's Communications Coordinator on the Regional Leadership Team. Outside of work, Zac is a passionate sports fan, supporting his hometown Buffalo Bills and Sabres, while also spending every second of the baseball season dreaming about catching his next home run at a Major League game.
